The year is 2665, technology is evolving fast.
Welcome to Adamant, one of the major leading cities for technological advancements located in New USA. The city is home to the nation’s leading technology company Paragon:Robotics&ScientificResearch, humans and xenolytes.
Xenolytes are humans affected by a strange mutation that allows them to possess unique super-human abilities. The source of this mutation? Unknown.
For decades, Xenolytes have been speculated as to being nothing more than a conspiracy, that is, until the assasination of a well-known politician exposes their existence to the media. Now the xenolytes must find ways to hide and find the culprit behind the assassination, all while being hunted down by Paragon.
Ground:ZERO is currently a planned prototype of a concept I’ve had in mind, so the future of the series may be unknown.
Ground:ZERO is a story told through six main characters who are antiheroes, (From Left to Right) Top Row: Echo, Dahlia, Pyro. Bottom row: Sanseong, Tempest, and Casper .
The storytelling of Ground:ZERO features an episodic character system, meaning that each episode focuses on a single protagonist dealing with the main story as well as inner conflicts of their own.
While the main story focuses on the protagonists, occasional side character episode shorts may be unlocked or released.

Hi there! My name is Kim. I am Vietnamese, and a sixteen-year-old junior in highschool. I would consider myself a hobbyist(???If theres something that I want to learn to do, I’ll try to learn and do it lol) freelance artist and would like to (hopefully) consider myself a game developer! I’ve always had an interest in the art form of game design after playing many different games and seeing how such amazing works are created from a simple idea.
Ground:ZERO is a project of mine that I’ve decided to create on my own. Everything you see from Ground:ZERO truly comes from the heart. I’m passionate about it and hope that everyone enjoys the story I create. Majority of Ground:ZERO is created by me, story, sprites, artwork, backgrounds(with the help of royalty free photomanipulation!!) CGS, slight programming and user interface. The only four things not belonging to me are the fonts, sound effects, music, and the game’s engine TyranoBuilder.
Ground:ZERO has been a project of mine ever since the idea sparked up during my sixth grade year, and recently mid-2019 was when I began bringing that idea to life somehow. Originally Ground:ZERO was meant to be a webcomic (Which you can view the early concept here) but I decided to change the format and presentation of the game so it would fit the way of how I wanted to tell the story, but don’t worry! Most of the comic’s aspects have been recycled into the game ;)
